About the Game
Battle For Knowledge was made for my 2D game design class at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. It was created over the course of the semester by an eight member team. Our team had a client who wanted us to make a game that was both fun and could be used as a tool for teaching the usefulness of technology in education to teachers. Our approach was a more of a symbolic one. The game is a web based game made with JavaScript. In the game, the player is a teacher who daydreams while working and imagines himself as a hero fighting off waves of monsters that symbolize the problems that students face. The player must use various teaching related tools to defeat the monsters, which symbolizes solving the problems.

My Responsibilities
My primary task for Battle for Knowledge was the implementation of the animations of the game. The game has over 60 different animations and it was my job, using sprite sheets, to implement these animations. I also built the logic to determine when they are played, as well as programmed controls for the player character.
